Two thirds of the men and half the women in Germany are overweight. Every fifth person is considered to be adipose. HEWI has developed products especially for people who are severely overweight, which have a weight capacity of up to 300 kg. The portfolio includes functions such as supporting, sitting and gripping and is designed for use in the care sector.
The care products are additionally reinforced, so that they can withstand high loads. The shower bench is available in two different widths and offers plenty of space and secure grip. The handles not only have a high load capacity, but also an enlarged gripping area, so that adipose patients can also grip securely around the handle.
